Soccer Recap: Oregon Takes a Loss

If Oregon was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Beaver Dam on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 5-0 to the Arrowhead Warhawks on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Oregon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Arrowhead are ranked second).

Oregon dropped their record down to 6-8-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Arrowhead, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Oregon will take on Madison Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arrowhead, they will head out to take on Muskego at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muskego's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
