Brevard took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Cherokee Braves 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Brevard had a senior duo take command as Addison Worley had 17 digs and five assists and Leah Cabe had 13 digs and one assist.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brevard is headed away from home for the first time to take on Asheville Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cherokee, they will square off against Highlands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Braves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
