Softball Recap: Cypress Falls Takes a Loss

Cypress Falls lost against Stratford back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cypress Falls Eagles lost 18-6 to the Stratford Spartans. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jasmine Shaw was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Leblanc, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Cypress Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Stratford, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Cypress Falls will face off against Cy-Fair at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stratford, they will take on Cypress Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Stratford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
