Basketball Recap: Brockton Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brockton can now relate to. They fell 60-47 to the Culbertson Cowboys on Saturday. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Culbertson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gavin Deen led the charge by going 6-for-8 en route to 15 points along with six boards and three steals. Bridger Salvevold was another key player, putting up ten points and eight rebounds.

Brockton now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Culbertson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Brockton nor Culbertson have any future games scheduled.
