Josey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 71-66 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glenn Hills Spartans. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Josey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Glenn Hills, the win snapped their losing streak at 38 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-14 record.

Josey and Glenn Hills could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Josey (ranked 452nd) will meet Burke County (ranked 160th) at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Glenn Hills will face off against Thomson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 243 places (457 vs. 214).
