Recap: Sumter Christian Bears vs. Grace Christian Lions
The Sumter Christian Bears put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 62-28 victory over Grace Christian. The result was nothing new for Sumter Christian, who have now won five games by 21 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Aj Danzy, who scored 32 points. The contest was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quayshawn While, who scored 15 points.
Sumter Christian has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 7-0 record. As for Grace Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Northside Christian School the next time they take the court. Sumter Christian will host Northside Christian School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Grace Christian will host them at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
