Football Recap: Memphis Business Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Memphis Business Academy and Huntingdon squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Memphis Business Academy had to settle for second. They took a 22-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Execs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Mustangs are ranked 43rd).

Memphis Business Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Marcus Person Jr and Kobe Simmons. Person Jr gained 123 total yards, while Simmons threw for 202 yards on 15 of 23 attempts.

Memphis Business Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Huntingdon, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Memphis Business Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huntingdon, they will face off against Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 11.7 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
