Volleyball Game Preview: Carroll Chargers vs. Columbia City Eagles

The Carroll Chargers will challenge the Columbia City Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Carroll is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

Carroll is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Leo.

Dominic Bennett was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 17 assists and seven digs.

Columbia City not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23rd (when they won 3-0). They blew past Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Carroll's record now sits at 24-7. As for Columbia City, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Carroll skirted past Columbia City 3-2 when the teams last played last Monday. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
