Soccer Recap: Canon City Takes a Loss

Canon City's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the Lewis-Palmer Rangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Canon City and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Lewis-Palmer, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Coming up, Canon City will square off against Pueblo West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewis-Palmer, they will face off against Highlands Ranch at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Highlands Ranch's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
