Baseball Game Preview: Lovejoy Leopards vs. Rowlett Eagles

The Lovejoy Leopards will square off against the Rowlett Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Rowlett took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lovejoy, who comes in off a win.

Lovejoy barely beat Wakeland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Leopards never let the Wolverines get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. The Leopards haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Rowlett came up short against Sunnyvale two weeks ago and fell 6-3.

Lovejoy got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March of 2022 against Rowlett by a conclusive 17-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Leopards since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
