Jemison had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Montevallo Bulldogs 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four contests in a row.

Jemison took Montevallo into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 28-26, 25-20, 19-25, 15-12.

Jemison's win bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Montevallo, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 21-13.

As of now, neither Jemison nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
