Brady Vanderweele was the best pitcher in Kalamazoo Valley this week. He won one game and struck out 13 batters.
The league's longest active winning streak belongs to
Pennfield (9-6, 6-4), undefeated over its last five games. The streak was extended by another two games over the past week, including a 3-0 win over Parchment.
Parchment's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only five hits and five walks, both of which led the league. The Panthers have given up a mere 87 hits on the year in addition to compiling 187 strikeouts.
Jay Topp is the leader in that category with 75 Ks on the season.
