Volleyball Recap: Corry Starts Season with Victory Against Mcdowell

Corry gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the McDowell Trojans. The Beavers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Trojans, so the Beavers were just returning the favor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-17, 25-7.

Grace Allen paced Corry's offense, picking up 15 kills. Allen got some help from Haley Mumau and her 26 assists. Regan Kemp controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corry will square off against Clarion Area at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McDowell, they will venture away from home to take on Erie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
