Basketball Recap: Cumberland County Takes a Loss

Cumberland County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 71-48 to the Livingston Academy Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-43 back in January.

Cumberland County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Livingston Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Cumberland County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-37 victory against Sequatchie County on the 1st. As for Livingston Academy, they will square off against Upperman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Upperman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
