Softball Recap: St. Henry Redskins vs. Newton Local Indians
St. Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newton Local Indians.
Breonna McCoy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Rya Buschur, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
St. Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Newton Local, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
