Volleyball Recap: Montwood Takes a Loss

Montwood lost against Johnson on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emily Jaquez paced Montwood's offense, picking up 13 kills. Jaquez got some help from Isabella Ochoa and her 20 assists. Ochoa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Montwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Johnson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Montwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Chapin on the 19th. As for Johnson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pearce on the 16th.
