Football Game Preview: Electra Tigers vs. Munday Moguls

Electra and Munday are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Tigers will head out to take on the Moguls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Electra will be strutting in after a victory while Munday will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Electra took on Seymour on Friday. The Tigers came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 14-6.

Meanwhile, Munday was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 44-20 to Haskell. The Moguls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-6.

Electra will have to keep a close watch on Haiden Bowman and Kiyryn Wilson, a pair of players who had a big impact on Munday's prior game. Bowman rushed for 136 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while Wilson rushed for 81 yards and a pair of TDs.

Munday now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Electra, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Electra against Munday in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 57-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
