Highland Park is 6-1 against Sumner Academy since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Highland Park Scots will get right back to it and host the Sumner Academy Sabres at 7:00 p.m.

Highland Park is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 79 points last Monday, they were much more limited against Life Prep on Thursday. They took a blow against the Fire, falling 71-22. The game marked the Scots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sumner Academy). They blew past Washington, posting a 68-25 win. The Sabres have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 35 points or more this season.

Highland Park's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Sumner Academy, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Highland Park was able to grind out a solid victory over Sumner Academy in their previous matchup back in January, winning 54-42. Will Highland Park repeat their success, or does Sumner Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
