The Peyton Panthers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fountain Valley and snuck past 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Peyton has posted yet this season.

Peyton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ayden Breese led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of John Turner, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
