After losing to San Marcos the last time they met, Bowie decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bowie Bulldogs escaped with a win on Tuesday against the San Marcos Rattlers by the margin of a single free throw, 57-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Bowie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for San Marcos, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-8 record.

Bowie will square off against Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bowie knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Johnson likes a good challenge. As for San Marcos, they will face off against Del Valle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
