While Carpinteria's win against Pacifica wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Carpinteria Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Pacifica Tritons on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Carpinteria was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 23-25, 22-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Carpinteria's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Pacifica, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carpinteria will venture away from home to square off against Channel Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carpinteria will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each game than the last. As for Pacifica, they are taking a road trip to take on Dos Pueblos at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
