Volleyball Recap: Glendale Victorious

Glendale's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lamar Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Elle Givens paced Glendale's offense, picking up eight kills. Givens got some help from Klaire Miner and her ten assists. Ivy Flinn controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Glendale's win bumped their record up to 11-5-2. As for Lamar, they moved to 18-5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Glendale and Lamar will both be playing Fair Grove the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 10:50 a.m.
