            Volleyball Recap: San Juan Diego Catholic Saints vs. St. Mary's Rams        
        
		
        
        
            San Juan Diego Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell  3-1 to the St. Mary's Rams. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  3-1  defeat  back in August.
 San Juan Diego Catholic started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-21, 25-13,  25-11.
  Miah Loera and  Jennifer De Blas certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss.  Loera  had nine  digs, while  De Blas  had 13  digs and four  assists.
San Juan Diego Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for St. Mary's, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5-1.
 San Juan Diego Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  2-0  defeat against Gloria Deo Academy on the 5th. As for St. Mary's, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tribe W at 6:30  p.m.  on  the 16th.
