Basketball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

After flying high against Arvada-Clearmont on Saturday, Riverside came back down to earth. The Riverside Rebels were beaten by the Upton Bobcats 63-23 on Saturday. The Rebels have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Riverside fell to 2-1. As for Upton, the victory was the 20th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will take on Shoshoni in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on December 21st. As for Upton, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Casper Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
