The East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Rivals put the hurt on the Klahowya Eagles with a sharp 60-36 victory. The Rivals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum]'s win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Penina Vailolo, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. Vailolo continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kaydence Plotner was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bellevue Christian has five straight victories, Klahowya has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
