Softball Recap: Robertsdale Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Robertsdale's offense. They came up short against the Baker Hornets on Tuesday, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in February.

The defeat snapped Robertsdale's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-11 record. As for Baker, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robertsdale will face off against Fairhope at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Golden Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Baker, they will head out on the road to face off against Mary G. Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
