Football Recap: Round Lake Takes a Loss

Round Lake was the 7-6 winner over Zion-Benton when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 26-20 to the Zee-Bees on Monday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Round Lake took the loss, they still got scores from Kaleigh Skowronski, Mya Hagi, and Aria Randolph.

Round Lake's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Zion-Benton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Round Lake will be playing at home against North Chicago at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Zion-Benton, they will host Waukegan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Zee-Bees will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.08 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
