Baseball Recap: Proctor Comes Up Short

Proctor was the 7-2 winner over Blue Mountain when they last played one another back in May of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Phantoms came up short against the Bucks on Friday, falling 13-1. The game marked the Phantoms' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Proctor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Griffin Pomeroy, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Proctor's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Blue Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Proctor will host Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Mountain, they will venture away from home to challenge Paine Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
