Basketball Recap: Junction City Takes a Loss

Junction City lost against Crook County back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Junction City Tigers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Crook County Cowboys an easy 57-37 win. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Junction City's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Crook County, they moved to 3-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Junction City will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Madras at 1:45 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Madras will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Junction City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Crook County, they will be taking part in a tournament against La Salle at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th.
