Soccer Recap: Susquenita Starts off Right with Win over Littlestown

Susquenita had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Littlestown Thunderbolts on Saturday. Holden Leer had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Susquenita got from the refs.

Susquenita hit Littlestown with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eric Rice (2), Benjamin Teter, and Jacob White.

This is the second loss in a row for Littlestown and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Susquenita didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Millersburg on the 23rd. As for Littlestown, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. This will be Littlestown's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
