Basketball Recap: Centennial's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Centennial was riding high fresh off their 87-60 takedown of Roswell last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Centennial Knights fell to the Kell Longhorns 70-64. The Knights have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Centennial's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8. As for Kell, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

Centennial and Kell should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Centennial (ranked 114th) will meet Blessed Trinity (ranked 394th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Kell will face off against Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday up 132 places (17 vs. 149).
