Softball Recap: St. Mary Takes a Loss

St. Mary managed to slip by DePaul Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gaels lost 13-2 to the Spartans on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Gaels couldn't push the score so high this time.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for DePaul Catholic, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, St. Mary is taking a road trip to challenge Rutherford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for DePaul Catholic, they will be playing at home against Ramapo at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
