Volleyball Recap: Desert Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Desert Christian's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

While Desert Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Palmdale Academy Charter School scored at least 22 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22.

Desert Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Desert Christian will take on Heritage Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Desert Christian is facing Heritage Christian at the right time seeing as Heritage Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they will head out to take on Trinity Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Classical Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Palmdale Academy Charter School surely won't give up without a fight.
