Softball Recap: Carver A&T Comes Up Short

If Carver A&T was riding high fresh off their 10-1 takedown of Old Mill last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Carver A&T fell 9-4 to the Catonsville Comets on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Carver A&T saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haleigh Frye, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Carver A&T now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Carver A&T Wildcats take on Dulaney Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Catonsville, they will square off against Eastern Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
