Softball Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Niwot Cougars
Roosevelt lost against Niwot back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Roosevelt Roughriders took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Niwot Cougars. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Roosevelt saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Vetter, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Niwot, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Roosevelt will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Northridge, where first pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. As for Niwot, they will challenge Skyline at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
