Soccer Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren entered their match against Taft on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warren Warriors fell 3-1 to the Taft Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in January.

Warren's goal came courtesy of Melonie Sanchez, who's now up to three this season.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 13-2. As for Taft, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Coincidentally, Warren and Taft will both be playing Sotomayor the next time they take the pitch. Taft will head out to face Sotomayor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Warren will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on March 5th.
