Recap: Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles vs. Washington Waldorf

The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles and Washington Waldorf squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles had to settle for second. They fell just short of the by a score of 42-40. The game was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Model Secondary School for the Deaf couldn't quite close it out.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyler Burckhardt, who scored 14 points. Jeramiah Whitehead was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Model Secondary School for the Deaf and nudges their season record down to 13-11. As for Washington Waldorf, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
