Tahquitz had lost seven straight headed into Tuesday's match, but Reyna Garcia didn't let it get to eight. The Titans came out on top against the West Valley Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Garcia, who had 23 digs, 12 kills, and one block. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5 kills per game.
Tahquitz had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 26-24, 25-13, 25-19.
