Football Game Preview: St. James Wildcats vs. Patterson Lumberjacks + Official Tickets

St. James has gone a perfect 6-0 against Patterson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when St. James challenged Donaldsonville on Friday. The Wildcats took their matchup with ease, bagging a 51-7 win over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five contests by 32 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patterson). They breezed past Berwick to the tune of 42-6 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Lumberjacks in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

St. James' win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Patterson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

St. James strolled past Patterson in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 14-0. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Lumberjacks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
