Softball Recap: Rice Takes a Loss

Rice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-4 to Palmer. Rice was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Palmer earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Rice saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Perry, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Rice's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Palmer, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-12-1.

While Rice had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
