Softball Recap: Huntsville Takes a Loss

Huntsville lost against Montgomery back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets lost 9-1 to the Bears. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Jazira Enriquez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Huntsville's record now sits at 11-15. As for Montgomery, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-11.

Coincidentally, Huntsville and Montgomery will both be playing A&M Consolidated the next time they take the field. The Bears will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
