Volleyball Recap: Atascadero Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Atascadero was the 3-0 winner over Templeton when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Atascadero actually scored more points across those five sets (104-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 19-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Despite the defeat, Atascadero saw an underclassman step up: freshman Sequoia Trejo had 12 digs and two assists.

Atascadero's loss dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Templeton, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-16.

Atascadero has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Paso Robles on the 9th. As for Templeton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against St. Joseph on the 9th.
