Basketball Recap: Northridge Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Northridge entered their tilt with Milton-Union on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Milton-Union Bulldogs 65-30. Given the Polar Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 709th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Milton-Union had strong showings from Titus Copp, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points, and Jacob Fraley, who posted three points.

Northridge pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Milton-Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northridge will challenge Lehman Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lehman Catholic will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Northridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Milton-Union, they will face off against Brookville at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
