Basketball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Glenn extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-6. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastern Guilford Wildcats. While the Bobcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 17-9 in the first quarter.

When it comes to explaining why Glenn lost, don't look at Semaj Galloway. Despite the final result, he shot 53% from the field to rack up 22 points. Another player making a difference was Derrek Griffin, who posted 13 points.

As for Eastern Guilford, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Eastern Guilford was led to victory by Noah Jordan and Isaiah Shaffner. Jordan went 6-for-11 on his way to 17 points, while Shaffner scored eight points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tramar Booker, who had six points.

Glenn will take on Apex Friendship in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eastern Guilford, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Uwharrie Charter Academy at 8:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
