Basketball Recap: Life Prep Takes a Loss

Life Prep lost against Example Academy National back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Life Prep Fire took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Example Academy National Eagles. The Fire have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Life Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Example Academy National, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Life Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-71 victory against Legion Collegiate Academy on the 25th. As for Example Academy National, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on SPIRE Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
