Mylee Vandevender posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
