Brian Williams Delivers Best Performance of Season

Surry Central was led to victory by Brian Williams, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Williams picked up 169 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 68 yards.

Forbush had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Williams it was a similar story. When Williams last faced the Falcons back in October of 2023, he rushed for 64 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.
