Football Game Preview: Evergreen Vikings vs. Delta Panthers + Official Tickets

The Evergreen Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Delta Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Evergreen will be strutting in after a win while Delta will be coming in after a defeat.

Evergreen will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven points last Friday, then bounced right back against Swanton on Friday. The Vikings blew past the Bulldogs, posting a 53-2 victory. That looming 53-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Delta faced off against Liberty Center on Friday. The Panthers had to suffer through a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The game marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Evergreen's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Delta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Evergreen didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Delta in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 27-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
