Fairfield won the last time they faced Middletown and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians put the hurt on the Middies with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fairfield was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-14.

Kennedy Ostendorf paced Fairfield's offense, picking up 22 kills. Ostendorf got some help from Rose Rodriguez and her 20 assists. Ostendorf also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Peyton Smith, each putting up three.

Fairfield's record is now 10-8. As for Middletown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
