Soccer Game Recap: Harrison vs. Widefield

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canon City, Harrison was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Widefield Gladiators get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Fernanda Gomez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Harrison.

Harrison's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-7. As for Widefield, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Harrison will challenge Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palmer will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Harrison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Widefield, they will take on Canon City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
